Channeling Vic

Now I can be like Vic Racine from My So Called Life and wear two different colored socks and have Rickie think I'm awesome.

Sweater: Fletcher by Lyell
Shoes: Fletcher by Lyell
Socks: H&M (two different pairs of socks)
Belt: Perry Ellis
Shorts: this is embarrassing, but they're by Tractor. And in a kids' size. mad awkz!

vicieeeee!
Also, I recently tried out OPI's Shatter nail polish. The Black-Mold-On-Fingernails look suits me. I'm starting to like it.

And lastly, Miles Garber is the star of the new Urban Outfitters catalogue.

Fair Weather

Tomorrow is my last day of final exams. Thursday I'm seeing The Hangover Part II with my advisory (kool kats huh) and Friday is the last day of school. Then I'll have a month of freedom in which I mooch around and draw, and then finally I'll have a month of mooching around FIT and drawing (jayplay it's a learning experience). I couldn't be happier.

Top: H&M
Pink Undershirt: H&M
Shorts: Urban Outfitters
Belt: GapKids
Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Shoes: Hunter

Remember, I'm not actually a mean person — that's just how my face looks so hop off.
But if you want proof that yes, I do facial muscles that allow me to look somewhat happy, here:

don't ask because i don't even know.

Dull Life

Blogger deleted the post I wrote on Wednesday, so here it is again. Basically, I was experimenting with my wardrobe, because playing dress up when you are 15 is totally normal.

Quasi Japanese schoolgirl?
Yellow top: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Dress: Free People
Socks: H&M
Belt: Gap
Shoes: Lanvin for H&M

The silver heels on these shoes make them kind of cheesy but in a terribly good way. And the bows! They're like Prada except silky and more fun to admire.

I changed the shoes for practicality reasons. If I wore the Lanvin pumps to school, I would probably break my face by the end of the day. Dat wood nawt b cyute.

Jeffrey Campbell

This is one of my favorite prints. It reminds me of origami paper.

SweaterVestGrl Pt. 1

I am perpetually in need of new clothes so I decided to look back at some of my old stuff. I found a bunch of sweaters my babysitter knit for me when I was like 6. I remember disliking most of them and once refusing to wear a chunky green one over my Halloween costume. Now I'm kind of into them. They fit so much better than they did when I was in kindergarten! I wore one of 'em yesterday:

notice the buttons — there are red ducks on them!

obviously holding the self-timer remote in my left hand...

Top: Free People
Jeans: Urban Outfitters

These have been my favorite shoes for the past two years. I buy them in bulk at wholesale prices...
Just kidding but they're by Ovation and are actual paddock boots meant for horseback riding. I purchased them at Manhattan Saddlery. You can also order them online.

Silver feather earring

More sweater/old clothing photos to come.

i wear wool socks in May

I finally figured out how the use the self-timer/remote that came with my father's camera! Now I can be like all those other monkeys and post photos of my clotheszz! So here we go..

 Top: Urban Outfitters
Skirt: Urban Outfitters (no judgement)
Socks: H&M
Shoes: Charles Jourdan
Belt: Gap

I like how these tights ripped because they bear a slight slight slight resemblance to Rodarte's series of shredded knits.
(Brown wrap watch by La Mer)

The shoes are the only part that I modified slightly — I didn't want to wear these to school because the heels are old and teetery and unstable, and falling down every 5 minutes would really not be endearing. So I wore a pair of black leather paddock boots to school instead.
