New Wuthering Heights

I've heard rumors that Kaya Scoledario from British Skins is slated to play Catherine Earnshaw in a re-make of Wuthering Heights...I've also heard that Ed Westwick is going to play Heathcliff in a different version. Westwick strikes me as more of an annoying Linton type.

But whatever happens, Kristen Stewart cannot play Cathy. If she does it will completely ruin the Wuthering Heights experience for me.

Compare Ed Westwick to Ralph Fiennes. Does the face on the left look suitable as the face of Heathcliff? Nononono. Dear lord, no. Button your shirt properly, Eddy.

I'll try to write a proper post tomorrow.

[insert witty comment about valentine's day]

In and of itself, this title is a pretty dumb attempt at being clever. Storie of ma lyfe!

Happy Valentine's Day to those of you who aren't moping around eating the chocolate hearts a significant other would have presented to you if it weren't the fact that you are single. Don't get too crazy.

My friend and I have started sketching our Wuthering Heights inspired collection. Because our English teacher is so super cool we plan on randomly showing up in the English Office one day and presenting our drawings to her as offerings of friendship. In my imagination, we all go out for ice cream afterwards and debate Team Edgar versus Team Heathcliff. I take English class very seriously.

I still need to color them so expect more photos and maybe a scan, if I'm not feeling too lazy, in the near future.

Today's surprisingly warm weather enabled me to wear the Opening Ceremony jacket I bought last week. Yaaay.
Also, Tommy Ton has been snapping away at New York Fashion Week so check it HERE

I don't know if it's overly fan-girl-ish of me to say this on here but I met Tavi today. Basically, her blue wig is amazing.

P.S:

Bunny Hop

I am currently enamored of Liu Wen and Lindsey Wixson. They are both completely high fashion yet their faces look like little bunnies in a field frolicking with flowers. In other words, dimples are great. As are gap-teeth.

I want to be Liu Wen's best friend.

Also, I love Manny. (Modern Family is on now.)

My friend and I are planning on designing a Wuthering Heights inspired collection in honor of our reading it in class. It will be a modern take on late 1700's/early 1800's fashion with some Gothic influence. SOOO much good. You can call it dorky but I'm very excited about this. And who knows maybe we'll get extra credit for it. DOUBLE YAY.

omgz Watch out it's Voldemort! (Ralph Fiennes.)

PS: No I'm not looking forward to Justin Bieber's movie. I barf my brains out.
