Witty Garage Rock, an Ode to Julian's Jackets

Basically, The Strokes. "Is This It" is one of the best albums my ears have ever had the pleasure of listening to. I mean yeah, Julian admitted to completely ripping bass lines from The Cure but y'know you gotta do what you gotta do. The album is still completely original. And it's witty! Oh so witty. On the verge of being obnoxious. But that's the best part. And "Take It Or Leave It" is great as the last track, whether intended or not. It wraps up all the obnoxious wit and catchy guitar melodies perfectly. I'm not actually qualified to say this stuff though. I'm the one who secretly likes Ke$ha and Katy Perry and 3OH!3 and poop like that.

This is at my school's library. If you happen to have a copy, look at the advertisement for Sun Chips. It made me snort. As in laughter.

And now this is just going to be a montage of Julian's jackets.

I need that jacket and that feather earring. pleeze.

how artsy

You know it's funny, his wife's name is Juliet. So it's like Juliet and Julian.

But Julian, I'm a Little Bit [Younger] Than You

The song is about Julian Casablancas. Everyone's a little obsessed. It's like bleached-hair girls performing voodoo on Barbies in a basement sitting on a rabbit-fur blanket wearing floral print maxi dresses and platform stripper shoes.
