She vowed to pose in a sexy lingerie shoot when she had reached her target weight of 11 stone.

And now Ultimo boss Michelle Mone has kept her promise, by stripping off for a new shoot after losing a staggering six stone in the space of three years.

The 38-year-old is following in the footsteps of Kelly Brook, Sarah Harding and Penny Lancaster by posing in her Ultimo range, and said she is thrilled to be able to show off her new slimline figure.

She said: ’I spent ten years trapped in a body I hated, now I love the new me and I’m happy to show it off.

’For years I tortured myself about my weight. I was miserable, I hated myself. How I look today is the result of three years of hard work, and I want to end that on a high note and put all my insecurities behind me. It’s the end of a chapter and I won’t be doing anything like this ever again.’

And Michelle, who went from a size 20 to a size 10 after using herbal appetite suppressants, credits former Spice Girls star Mel B for helping her find the courage to fulfil her dream.

She told Hello! magazine: ’We were doing a campaign shoot in Las Vegas and I was fitting Mel’s bra, when she said, "You should do a shoot yourself - show off how great you look".’

But while Michelle is thrilled with the sexy new pictures, in which she poses in a variety of stunning underwear sets, she admits her husband Michael, to whom she has been married for over 20 years, was less than impressed.

She said: ’I sent him one picture after the shoot and he emailed back to say, "OK, nice - but you’re not releasing them".

’Although we’ve had our disagreements, I’ve never totally gone against my husband before. Not only does he think it’s a bad thing to do professionally, he’s a traditional kind of guy and doesn’t want other men looking at his wife in underwear.’

And her husband wasn’t the only one to disapprove of the shoot, as Michelle wrote on her website last month that Ultimo bosses weren’t sure if it was the right thing to do.

She wrote: ’My board are against me getting my kit off. But I want to show all women that, no matter what age you are, you can shed the pounds, get fit and look the best.’

Michelle added to Hello! magazine: ’A lot of people will be shocked to see me doing this, particularly in the business world. A company head has never done anything like it, so I know it’s controversial which is why I was petrified stepping in front of the camera.

’But I want to empower women and show them that if you’re really unhappy about your body, you have the power to do something about it. Look at me, I was 6 stone overweight and so unfit – but I managed to turn my life around, and you can too if you put your mind to it.’

Having revealed her wild side in a leopard print two-piece, it seems Maria Menounos was intent on not letting the side down.

The stunning presenter was spotted lapping up the sun again today in Miami as she hit the beach with her beau, director Keven Undergaro.

The 32-year-old Access Hollywood host has been too busy to lounge lately as she’s been promoting her new book, which is a shame as she’s a beauty in a bikini.

In fact judging by these pictures she should pen a tome entirely comprised of tips for looking sensational throughout a day on the beach.

The previous day, brunette Menounos spent the whole day soaking up the sun and drinking cocktails with her long-term boyfriend Ungaro.

And there was ne’er a sweaty face or hair out of place between them.

The presenter usually keeps their solid relationship relatively under wraps, but happily she didn’t keep that sexy bikini and wonderful body similarly shrouded.

The 32-year-old Massachusetts native previously dropped ten dress sizes, so she’s more qualified than most celebrities to instruct in the ways of nutrition and dieting.

Menounos credits her healthy lifestyle for the sensational form she maintains.

The new book. which is entitled The Every Girl’s Guide to Life, offers her advice on how to live a healthier, happier and more balanced life.

In an interview with health the blog thatsfit.com, Maria said she wrote the book to inspire other women.

’I see so many friends, acquaintances and even strangers struggle in their daily lives.

They struggle to look their best, get ahead, manage finances and manage their lives. I saw myself struggle and fail when I started out, too,’ she said.

Maria, who lost 40 pounds after college, added: ’Many of us struggle and fail when we don’t have to.

In The EveryGirl’s Guide to Life, I share experiences and practical tips that every girl, famous or not famous, wealthy or not wealthy, can apply daily toward achieving a more successful, prosperous and healthy appearance.’

Among her advice: ’Breathing in and exhaling deeply is something none of us do enough of.

It really helps me. The key is remembering to do it. Doing 10 minutes of yoga in the morning is great, too.’

And she certainly looked sensational, all dressed up, today at a Marie Claire party, also in Miami.

She donned a pretty lace outfit for the 2nd Annual Girls Getaway, and showed off that tan.

The former Miss Massachusetts Teen USA first went public with her weight loss struggles in 2008, in interview with Fitness magazine.

The Greek American goddess, who has been in a committed relationship with Ungaro for 13 years, said she started gaining weight when she went away to Emerson College in Boston.

The brunette, who was last year named one of the Sexiest 100 Women in the World by FHM, is also an actress having landed bit-parts in One Tree Hill and Scrubs.

Presenter Vern’s pride was certainly justified. Tess’s slim and unlined stomach shows no evidence of her recent pregnancy.

She gave birth to 7lb 15oz Amber Isabella on May 29, a sister for Phoebe Elizabeth, now four.

The 38-year-old said she had developed a sweet tooth during her pregnancy, and expected her baby weight to be harder to lose this time.

But with the new series of Strictly starting next month she must have been keen to regain her waistline.

Just two weeks after Amber was born, Tess wrote in a newspaper column how her ‘wardrobe options are expanding as I’m starting to fit into some of my pre-pregnancy clothes’.

While Tess has been flashing her flesh in her latest campaign, her husband Vernon Kay is keeping his promotional work in the family, and is currently starring in a cheesy ad with his mother Gladys to promote Flora Cusine cooking oil.

Vernon’s image alongside Tess as one of the UK’s showbiz golden couples was in tatters last year when he was caught sending racy texts to a bevy of women.

The All Star Family Fortunes presenter was tipped to joined forces with former X Factor contestant Stacey Soloman, 21, to present celebrity talent show Sing If You Can.

But, after filming the pilot, Vernon was replaced by Keith Lemon because he and show bosses thought it would be better if the programme was hosted by a comedian.

Vernon said said: ‘Following the pilot the producers and I talked about the tone of the show.

‘And we all agreed that, because of the mix of comedy and slapstick challenges, it would benefit from having a comedian to host it.’
