Manny Pacquiao thankful Jinkee has forgiven Krista

Sarangani Rep. and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is thankful that his wife, Jinkee, has forgiven actress Krista Ranillo.

Asked about his wife's statement that she has forgiven Ranillo, Pacquiao laughed and said: "Lahat naman ng tao nagpapatawad."

The boxer was alleged secretly dating the sexy actress in 2009 when the 2 were paired in the movie "Wapakman."

The rumor triggered a fight between the Pacquiao couple, which surfaced after the boxer's victory over Miguel Cotto.

Ranillo later married Island Pacific supermarket boss Jefferson NiƱo Lim. She recently gave birth to a baby boy.

Jinkee Pacquiao told "The Buzz" that she has already moved on from the issue, and that she wished Ranillo well.

"Matagal na rin kasi na panahon na nangyari 'yon. So, parang kinalimutan ko na rin 'yon. Tsaka napatawad ko na lahat kung sino man 'yong nakasakit sa akin. Parang naka-move on na rin ako," she said.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao said he is planning to spend Fathers' Day with his family and even gave a greeting to all dads.

Asked for his reaction after being named the 24th highest-paid athlete by Forbes magazine, Pacquiao replied: "Ganun ba? Masaya tayo diyan kasi pinaghirapan natin 'yan."

Jinkee Pacquiao turns down Ellen DeGeneres show

The wife of 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, Jinkee, has turned down an invitation to appear in a hit US talk show.

In a report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Jinkee revealed that she received an invitation to appear on CBS' Ellen DeGeneres show, yet she declined the offer.

"Kasi live, sabi ko, ayoko 'yung live... Kasi first time kong 'yung magge-guest sa Amerika, sa CBS pa, tapos live," she said.

The celebrity endorser said she is not keen on appearing on any US-based live TV show, for now, because she is uncomfortable with the English language.

"Tapos siyempre, English ‘yun, so baka mag-nosebleed ako. Hindi ako fluent sa English, inaamin ko naman ‘yun," she said.

Jinkee, however, revealed she regrets rejecting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Nonetheless, she stressed that she's just being true to herself.

"Nanghihinayang din ako, pero naiintindihan naman nila... Basta naging totoo lang naman ako na baka ano ‘yung masasabi ko, ayokong magkamali,” said Jinkee.

Meantime, Pacquiao’s wife said she’s not closing her doors to appear on the said show at some time in the future.

"Baka next time, baka handa na ako sa ganun," she said.

Prior to Jinkee, international singing sensation Charice and Fil-Canadian Youtube sensation Maria Aragon have appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

Jinkee Pacquiao: I took contraceptives without Manny knowing it

Jinkee Pacquiao, the wife of eight-division world boxing champion and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao, on Wednesday confirmed that she has taken contraceptives in the past without her husband knowing it.

In an exclusive interview aired over GMA News’ “24 Oras," Jinkee said she would not have used the birth control pills if she knew that Manny, who is opposed to the Reproductive Health (RH) bill now pending in Congress, was against it.

“Gumamit ako [ng pills] na hindi alam ni Manny. Kung hindi naman pala siya payag na magpills ako, hindi ko na ginawa," she said.

Jinkee, who has four children with Manny, said she used contraceptives even before the bill became the subject of a wide-ranging, acrimonious debate. The proposed measure allows government-funded access to contraceptives.

Jinkee, who was previously quoted as saying that four is enough, now says she does not have a problem with getting pregnant again. “It is a blessing, so kung magbubuntis magpapasalamat na lang ako sa Panginoon na binigyan pa ako ng isa pang anak," she said.

Manny, a Catholic often shown on television praying and attending Mass, said the provisions of the bill go against the Bible. Some pro-RH advocates accused him of hypocrisy after reports came out that Jinkee admitted that she had taken birth control pills.

The Catholic Church is opposed to the bill and is trying to block its passage in Congress. On Wednesday, an anti-RH bill website was even launched by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).
