Chris Brown Apologizes for 'Good Morning America' Outburst
Chris Brown Apologizes for 'Good Morning America' Outburst
Chris Brown made quite a scene on Good Morning America earlier this week when he left the set, punched out a window, then stormed out of the studios shirtless, and today he's trying to make amends.
The 21-year-old singer claimed he had a meltdown because he felt he was being “exploited” when he was questioned about the domestic violence incident involving then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Chris said: "When we actually did this event everything was cool. We were supposed to perform, the talking points were positivity, creativity, and everything that was sent to me, everything was about the album. So as the interview proceeded it was thrown off, I was kind of thrown off by it. I felt like they told us this so that they can just get us on the show just to exploit me. That's what I thought. And so I took it very, very hard.
I kind of kept my composure throughout the whole interview although you can see me upset. I kept my composure and did my performance and when I got back I let off steam in the back. I didn't physically hurt anyone I didn't try to hurt anyone. I just wanted to release the anger I had inside me because I felt like I worked so hard for this music. And I love my fans and I love to be able to make positive music that I felt like people kept, just trying to take it away from me, take away from me. So yes, I got very emotional and I apologize for acting like that."
However, Chis did express a bit of remorse for scaring people in the studios with his rant and violence in another interview.
In an interview with BET's 106 & Park, he said: “I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, anybody who was offended or really looked disappointed at my actions because I was really disappointed in my actions. A lot of people don't know what went down. When I do shows or I do interviews we always send out a talking points sheet and if the network or whomever doing the interviewing isn't complying with what we want to do so we can equally accomplish a goal we usually back out until it’s a better situation."

Chris Brown Flies Into Rage After GMA Interview
Chris Brown Flies Into Rage After GMA Interview
Chris Brown went on ‘Good Morning America’ this morning to promote his new album, ‘FAME.’ Robin Roberts asked him about his assault on Rihanna, which the singer apparently didn’t like. This is what ABC sources told TMZ:
We’re told after the interview, Brown freaked out, storming into his dressing room and screaming so loud, the people in hair and makeup became alarmed and called security.
We’re told Brown was out of control, and one source present tells us he smashed a window in his dressing room, and the glass shattered and some shards fell onto 43rd and Broadway. ABC securitytells TMZ … the window was shattered with a chair.
We’re told by the time security rushed the area, Brown had ripped off his shirt and left the building, blowing off another performance he was supposed to do for the ABC website.
And sources say … on his way out of the building, Brown confronted a segment producer, got in his face and stared him down. People from the show got in between Chris and the producer to diffuse the situation.
Remember — Brown is on probation for the felony beating and he’s required to obey all laws. Here’s a picture of the window Chris reportedly smashed:
Goodness!
The picture above is of him leaving the studio. Looks like he still needs to work on those anger management issues.
After the break is the GMA interview. I don’t think it was all that bad, do you? Click on the continue reading link below to see it.
