Everybody knows about Abigail “Abby” Loraine Hensel and Britanny Lee Hensel. Lots of web sites has written articles about them from their birth up till today. Ma blog stuffs are usually Gadgets and technology issues. But I really wanted to talk about them since they are examples for all of us. Abigail "Abby" Loraine Hensel and Brittany "Britty" Lee Hensel, were born on March 7, 1990 in Carver County, Minnesota. They are dicephalic conjoined twins. They have two spines which join at the pelvis. They have two stomachs, four lungs (two partially conjoined pairs), and two arms.

A third, underdeveloped and unusable arm between their heads was amputated in infancy.

Abigail and Brittany Hensel's parents are Patty, a registered nurse and Mike Hensel, a carpenter and landscaper. The twins have a younger brother named Dakota and a younger sister named Morgan. They were raised in New Germany, Minnesota and attend Lutheran High School in Mayer, Minnesota. They plan to graduate in 2008.

When the twins were born, their parents chose not to have them separated, as the operation would have been risky and left them in wheelchairs. They do not regret their decision. the twins have themselves stated that they don't wish to be separated. At age 12, they underwent surgery at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare to correct scoliosis and to expand their chest cavity to prevent future difficulties with breathing.

Each of the twins manages one side of their conjoined body; They cannot feel any sensation on the other girl's side, yet they can somehow tell when to do something like scratch a mosquito bite on the other girl's arm. Through it all, by coordinating their efforts, they are able to walk and run normally. They enjoy hobbies and sports including volleyball, basketball, kickball, swimming, cycling, and singing. They also play the piano and are avid computer users. Like many teenagers of their generation, they enjoy softball, digital photography, the internet, social networking, and talking on the telephone.

Despite sharing a body, the twins have different tastes in food and clothes. Some of their clothes are altered so that they have two separate necklines in order to emphasize their individuality. They will usually have separate meals, but sometimes will share a single meal for the sake of convenience.

They successfully passed their driver license exam, both the written and driving tests. They had to take the tests twice, once for each twin. Both control the steering wheel, Abby controls the pedals and transmission radio, heat, defogger etc. , and Brittany controls the turn signal and lights.

The news that Abby and Brittany Hensel are engaged is still not confirmed. Abigail and Brittany Hensel are 18-year-old now and attending their first year at college as grown adults. The news of ‘their’ engagement first came in January, but that’s still unconfirmed. In the month of January this year, there were rumors that Abby and Brittany Hensel are engaged or at least one of them but since then, there has been no confirmation to the same. However, Chamberlain and 32-year-old Pedace have been inspired by Abby and Brittany and they have been reported to be engaged, would soon get married too.

World's Biggest Shoe Thief

A man whose last name is Park was arrested by investigators from Suseo Police Precinct in southern Seoul for stealing shoes.

Park allegedly preyed on funeral halls where many people would take off their shoes to pay their respects to the deceased.



Reports said that the 59-year-old shoe thief was amassing shoes for his used shoe business. His method was to pretend to be a mourner, take off his (obviously much cheaper) pair of shoes, and then sneak off with a more expensive one he could sell. He repeated this scheme again and again at funeral homes across Seoul. He was finally caught when he was found stealing three pairs of shoes with a total value of U.S. $1,750 (new retail price).

Despite his penchant for stealing, he was an orderly fellow. When police raided his warehouse they found thousands of shoes organized into neat rows arranged by size.

Bizarre Foods from Phsar Thmei Market in Cambodia

The Phsar Thmei Market in Phnom Penh, Cambodia is an astounding destination for both locals and tourists. Otherwise known as the Central Market, the bazaar is always filled with incredibly crafted clothing, jewelry, and trinkets.

One of the most interesting features, however, is the collection of food stands. Of course you’ll find fruits, vegetables, and the standard produce fare. But those who aren’t expecting it will be surprised when they’re faced with some of the more bizarre edible delicacies that Cambodia has to offer. Check out some of the scrumptious delights that may make it onto your plate when you visit!

Coconut Pudding

One of the least offensive dishes we found on the market was this creamy dish of coconut pudding. The meat of the coconut is ground and mixed with other ingredients to form a deliciously gooey creation. If you’re a fan of coconut flavors you’ll probably enjoy this dish.

Monkey Brains

Yes, people really do eat brains. That fact was not concocted for use as a movie effect alone. This photograph was taken at a local delicatessen in the Phsar Thmei Market. These are monkey brains, and they’re on their way to someone’s dinner plate!

Animal Stomachs

In Cambodia, every part of the animal is fair game when it comes to putting food on the table. This includes the stomachs of various animals as well. The local delicatessen had just set these out as well. We’re not 100% sure which animal they are from or how how they’re cooked but we do know that they’re relatively common.

Squid BBQ

We normally throw chicken legs, hot dogs, and burgers on the grill in the USA. Here in Cambodia they barbeque squid. Head on over for a lovely char-grilled stick of squid!

Prawns and Seafood

If it comes out of the Mekong River, you’ll likely find it on the menu. Here we have colorful prawns and an assortment of other bizarre delights.

A trip to Cambodia really isn’t complete without a trip to Phsar Thmei Market. Only here will you find foods you’d normally consider to be far off the beaten path. Perhaps you’ll even give a few a try!
