Emboldened with the success of its reality show — Halli Hyda Pyateg Banda, which has seen overwhelming viewership in last three months, Suvarna Television Channel, is launching a sequel titled Pyate Mandi Kadige Bandharu (City Folks Came to Forest).

The new reality show will go on air from November 8, 2010 and will be telecast from Monday to Friday between 8 pm & 9 pm noted actor and dancer Akul Balaji, who anchored the last 2 series as well, will continue as the anchor.
Unlike the past 2 shows, this sequel will see 12 boys and girls going to Dandeli forest (600km from Bangalore). They have to live like tribes as their tasks and day to day life, for 60 days, will be as per the instructions of a tribal community head. The City folks, who are used to leading luxurious and easy-going lifestyles, face the harsh and uncertain situations of forest milieu. With the 3rd sequel launching, the series will go on record as most unique and novel show in South India.
Pyate Mandi Kadige Bandru will be telecast during the weekdays on Suvarna at 8 pm
