Born in Itabira, Brazil, on the 29th of May, 1982, Ana Barros later moving with her parents and sisters to the bustling city of Rio de Janeiro, and was raised there for much of her youth.Her big break came about when she was holidaying in her home country, at the beach in Rio, and was spotted by one of the Elite Model Management's senior partners.n her spare time, Ana Barros says that she likes to do everyday, normal things, such as just chilling out with her friends, going to the movies, reading books and listening to music. You see, models can lead a normal and balanced life.At present, Ana divides her time between living in the cosmopolitan Paris and the concrete jungle of New York. She works for Elite Model Management in Paris (and her native Brazil), and for IMG in New York.
