Kris Aquino: No comment on James' love life

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is keeping mum on reports that husband James Yap is courting acoustic singer Marie Digby.

Aquino said "no comment" when asked to react to the rumor, saying she is no longer interfering with his private life.

“Deadma talaga ako. Kung kay PNoy (brother President Benigno Aquino III) deadma, mas deadma diyan. Kasi I'll let him have his privacy. The very fact na hiwalay kami already gives him some measure of privacy that he didn’t have when we were married,” she told “Showbiz News Ngayon.”

Aquino and Yap separated last year. They were married in 2005.

Yap has also been romantically linked to actress-model Isabel Oli but both parties repeatedly denied the rumor.

Digby, on the other hand, was rumored to have dated hunk actor Sam Milby.

Aquino also opted to remain silent when asked who – between Oli and Digby – has her vote.

“Wala akong boto. Wala akong karapatang bumoto dahil siya (Yap), later on in life, ayoko ding magboboto-boto din siya tungkol sa love life ko,” she said.

'Today with Kris Aquino' set for comeback?

Queen-of-All-Media Kris Aquino announced on Tuesday that ABS-CBN is considering remaking “Today with Kris Aquino.”

In her official Twitter account, Aquino said she will attend a meeting later in the day about the show’s possible relaunch.

“Meeting later today. 15 yrs after having my 1st daily talk show in ABS, going back to our roots. I remember asking u what u thought of several talk formats for me- the Today w/ Kris Aquino 2011 re-boot seemed the most winning for all of us & here we go,” she tweeted.

Aquino added that she’s gladdened by her followers’ tweets, which showed they are looking forward to the show's return.

“I'm flattered to hear from people that they r excited for Today w/ Kris to come back- they grew up w/ the show. So the challenge for us is to make it fun, informative, relevant & to show that I've also managed to do my share of growing up,” she said.

“Today with Kris Aquino” was a morning talk show on ABS-CBN that aired from 1996 until 2001. It was dubbed as the Philippine version of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

Ayon sa aktor, ito na ang tamang panahon para ibahagi nya ang pribadong aspeto ng kanyang buhay.

"Ngayon ko lang unting naiintindihan ang mga bagay dati na hindi ko naiintindihan... And now I'm becoming more mature... I guess, with greater responsibilities," aniya.

Hindi naman daw ibig sabihin nito ay papasok na si Dream sa showbiz.

Katunayan, medyo mahiyain pa si Dream sa kamera. Agad umiwas ang bata nang hingan ng sampol ng kanyang paboritong kanta.

"Pinangako niya (Dream) sa 'king magtatapos muna sa pag-aaral. Sabi ko 'No problem,'" ani Diether.

Kung bukas na sa usapin patungkol sa anak, kumambyo naman si Diether tungkol sa isyung pagkakamabutihan nila ng naging leading lady na si Kris Aquino.

"Wala dapat akong i-explain. I'm very happy that at this point, ang pagiging magkaibigan namin, naging mas malalim," sabi pa ni Diether. "Parang ibang level na."

Ayon sa aktor, anuman ang kulang sa kanyang love life ngayon ay napupunuan ito ng pagmamahal ng anak.

Kris Aquino to do a Teleserye with Anne

TV host-actress Kris Aquino is gearing up for another project with ABS-CBN.

During Baby James' pre-birthday celebration at Bahay ni Maria orphanage, the "Queen of All Media" announced that she is set to top-bill a prime time teleserye with sultry host-actress Anne Curtis.

Aquino, however, refused to give further details about the project, and said, "Pinagalitan kasi ako ni Deo [Endrinal]. Ang daldal ko daw. Kasi dapat daw 'di ko na sinabi na may teleserye with Anne pero nasabi ko na so nandiyan na 'yan."

"[It's] directed by Chito Rono but that's all I'm allowed to say. Beyond that daw, talagang kakalbuhin na niya 'ko. So shut up na 'ko," Aquino added.

When asked why she would like to work with Curtis, the President's sister quickly replied: "Kasi the roles are perfect for both of us. I'm not allowed to say lang talaga kasi sabi ni Deo, 'Matagal pa 'yan. Baka agawin yung idea.' Pero kasi may advocacy involved dun sa project that is very close to my heart."

Meantime, the "Pilipinas Got Talent" (PGT) judge divulged that "PGT Season 2" will air live starting April 30.

Aside from hosting the talent show, Aquino is also hosting the Philippine version of the US hit game show "The Price Is Right", which airs from Monday to Friday before "TV Patrol".

Kris Aquino Holds B-Day Medical Mission

Actress and TV host Kris Aquino is celebrating her 40th birthday, which falls on February 14, through a medical mission in 3 different places.

The presidential sister said she has kicked off her birthday through a medical mission and toy distribution in Tarlac, her hometown.

In an interview for TV Patrol Sabado, the Queen of All Media stressed that she wanted to share her many life blessings. More than a thousand Tarlaquenos flocked to see her.

Kris says, she particularly chose free cervical cancer and flu vaccination among many others for her medical mission."Vaccination is so important because primary health care pero mahal so kung makahanap ako ng sponsor, bonggang bongga at nakahanap nga ako!"

The medical mission in Tarlac is just the first in a series that Kris is doing. "This is my first (birthday celebration), second ko sa Sunday, sa Leyte (where I will have the) same as what i did here in Tarlac. Then my last is on Feb. 24 with Governor Vilma Santos in Lemery, Batanggas."

Politics

She shrugged off allegations that she is doing these medical missions as part of her plan to run in the coming elections.

"Marami pa akong kailangan tapusin para sa mga anak ko. Ayoko ever ma-accuse na ginamit ko kung ano mang posisyon para sa kaginhawahan ng pamilya ko.

Yet, she did not close her doors to a possible political career: "If ever that time will come, it will be after my brother's presidency."

Birthday wish

Kris also revealed her birthday wish: "I want freedom (annulment of marriage with cager James Yap). Gusto ko na legally matapos na para maging malaya na kami ni James (at) makahanap ng kaligayahan na hindi namin nabigay sa isa't isa."

She said she did not invite James to her birthday events to avoid an "awkward situation" and because "hindi rin nya ako in-invite sa birthday nya."

Kris shared that she had an intimate birthday dinner and mass on Saturday in her home with family members and select friends from the show business and politics.

As to whether she invited someone special for her birthday celebration, Kris didn't give details but hinted that there is someone special. "Inuunahan ko na, kung sino ang mapapanood niyo na kasabay namin nagdarasal, gusto nila makadasal family ko. please kung ano yung mga litratrato sa mass ko huwag niyo lagyan ng malisya baka hindi na siya makipagdasal sa akin."

Kris said that her brother, President Benigno Aquino III was there. However, he had no date "because napaso na siya sa mga events ko noon."

Kris also revealed what she got for herself for her birthday. "I'm turning 40 on Monday, I dont need jewelry (or) expensive bags, but it's nice to have properties."

She said these properties are not for her. "Para sa mga anak ko, para pag hindi na ako nagtratrabaho ng ganitong kasipag, may paparenta kami. It's an investment for the future of my children."

On Monday, her new game show, The Price is Right, will debut on the Kapamilya network.

Kris Aquino Receives Bracelet From James Yap

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino disclosed that she received a bracelet from her estranged husband, star cager James Yap.

On Twitter, Aquino, who turned 40 today, February 14, said she was “touched by the gesture."

"He + bimby bought me a lovely bracelet w/ a heartwarming card. Josh & Bimby loved riding in James' car. I rode in my own to give them time together," Aquino tweeted.

"By the way, I'm allowed a wish right? I wish James & I the legal freedom to be able to love again & share w/ new lifelong partners the love we failed to sustain between us. Bimby gave him a red BB Torch & I gave him 2 Bruno Mars VIP tickets for him & his date for April 8. Happy birthday to him on Feb 15," the actress added.

The presidential sister, who’s been in a lot of controversies and intrigues, said she is getting all the love and support from her family, especially from her two sons -- James Yap Jr. and Joshua.

"Before I slept I text all my siblings to say thank u- for all the love, understanding & support. I have all the love from my family & sons to remove any insecurity from being single at 40," Aquino said.

Aquino also shared that she missed her mother, former president Corazon "Cory" Aquino, who passed away in 2009 due to colon cancer.

"I cried a bit before sleeping, missed my Mom. Pilot of Price Is Right later be4 TV Patrol, wala sya. My 1st game show w/o my Mom to cheer me on," she said.
