Kourtney Kardashian shows off her athletic figure as she reveals how running got her into shape after pregnancy

Running along the beach in her workout gear, Kourtney Kardasian's figure could be that of an athlete.
The reality star's healthy curves look trim and toned as she races along the sand, her brunette hair flying out behind her.
As Shape magazine's cover girl, Kourtney has revealed how she got her figure back after giving birth to her son Mason.

The 32-year-old told the magazine she wanted to inspire other new mothers who were feeling overwhelmed at the thought of restarting their exercise routines.
'I'm proof that even after having a baby you can look better and sexier than ever,' she told Shape.
Kourtney, mother to 18 month-old Mason, explained that she began exercising as a young girl.
'My family has always been into exercise,' she said. 'My dad [Robert Kardashian] used to tape episodes of Seinfeld and Friends and watch them while he was on the treadmill.'

Once her mother married former Olympian Bruce Jenner the good influence continued, with Kourtney and sister Kim being encouraged to take martial arts classes.

Now, as a new mother, Kourtney has resorted to her old routine of running to get in shape.
'I tried working out at the gym in our New York City hotel, which was boring, and I took bootcamp classes with Kim, but they're just not for me,' she explained.
But running isn't without it's challenges - not least finding the time.
 
'Know when is the right time for your workout and commit to doing it, she advised.
'For me, I have to get up at 7am every day, before everyone else, leave Mason in bed with Scott, and go for a run.
'Thirty minutes of cardio is right outside my door.'
Having started eating healthily during pregnancy, Kourtney has kept up the habit.
She now eats lots of  fruit and vegetables, ordering healthy side dishes like spinach and carrots in restaurants.
'It wasn't just because it's good for me, I've discovered I really like eating that way,' she explained.
