| VIDEO: Ever wonder what happened to Billy Blanks? Posted: 05 Apr 2011 10:34 PM PDT Long story short, the inventor of Tae Bo is now a super star in Japan. Like many muscle-bound, combat-inclined African Americans in the land of the rising sun (well, at least one other, aka Bob Sapp), first he made a big splash on all the variety shows on the dial, and then becamce the star of his own video game… Apparently when he released his Boot Camp regimen (which I guess was his next line of workout videos, after Tae Bo finally ran it course) in Japan, it was a HUGE hit. Eventually he settled there with a brand new bride, his Japanese interpreter to be exact, and opened a gym there as well. Anyhow, America is riddled with crappy witness games for the Wii starring fitness “celebrities” (see also: that annoying chick on Biggest Loser… God I hate that woman), so Japan is no different. BTW, fun-fact: Billy was apparently the main source of inspiration of the character of Dee Jay in Super Street Fighter. No doubt it was this fight scene that provided whomever that flash of inspiration… | ||||||||||||||||

Well, your oddly specific dreams are a reality thanks to this new season of Spike TV’s “Auction Hunters”. Auction Hunters First Look – Watch Act One Of The Season 2 Premiere The show combines all the hard-hitting auction show staples of negotiation, historical knowledge, and looking at objects, then combines it with a dude who looks like “Bam Bam” Bigelow. And that Bigelow-looking guy’s name is “Ton”. Has there ever been a guy named after a metric unit that hasn’t been awesome? Absolutely not. I like what I am seeing here from this bird Lyndsy Fonseca in the April issue of Jack magazine. She actually makes me want to find out just who the hell she is. Let’s see what we can learn. I’ll be damned, she’s an American actress currently starring as Alex in the CW series Nikita. The CW… I think I have that on my cable system. Who knows…? Has anyone out there ever watched this show? Is it like La Femme Nikita? I loved that show. Well, I loved the chick who played Nikita, whatever her name was… that blonde chick, she was hot. I wonder if that show is on DVD or Netflix now. | SHOCKING: The “Khloe and Lamar” show looks unwatchable Posted: 05 Apr 2011 12:19 PM PDT If you’re interested in the life of the fat, ugly sister of a sex tape star and a somewhat above average basketball player, you’re in luck. Someone had the radical idea of giving Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom a TV show. As if their appearances on “Keeping up with the Kardashians” weren’t enough, now we can get a whole half-hour of Khloe and Lamar love all to ourselves. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact the Kardashians are as popular as they are. Outside of Kim’s butt and breasts, there is not a single redeeming quality to any of them. Now, in fairness, Kim can cover up a lot of flaws for the rest of the family, especially when it involves her bending over or for that matter, getting bent over. But two TV shows for the same dysfunctional family? Nah, I’d rather watch re-runs of “Golden Girls” and fap to the thought of the salacious orgies those four were having behind closed doors. | ||||||||||||||||
