A Few Picks for Fall 2011

Style.com dubs patchwork, fur, fetish, high-heeled loafers, the portfolio bag and utility gear (alpine boots, etc), the biggest trends for Fall 2011. This is all great fun but unfortunately, not everyone can afford a handcuff bag (fetish chic!) by Louis Vuitton.
I usually hate "get the look for less" type things and not in pretentious way. But everyone caves once in a while, so here are a few of my picks (most under $400!) for Fall 2011:

1. Patchwork can get sort of homely and ugly, but I think this Ralph Laurent Prescott messenger is indie-Coachella worthy.

2. Foxtail keychains were featured in this month's issue of Vogue—I guess they're making a comeback since last year's Louis Vuitton bag candy.

3. These fur-trimmed booties by Viktor & Rolf fall under both the "fur" and "utility" category.

4. Alexander McQueen platform mary-janes in black velour supply a hearty dose of kink.

5. These loafers by Alexander Wang are super high and super cheap: marked down to $262 from $655, these are a must-have.

6. This leather portfolio clutch by ASOS is only $98. It also happens to be quite delightful.

7. Miu Miu's cotton-poplin parka in beige can transition from August/September to colder months.

8. F-Troupe canvas boot.

I've lost all steam. Bye guyszs.
