| Jim Tressel gets 2-game ban for NCAA violation Posted: 08 Mar 2011 04:20 PM PST Ohio State head football coach Jim Tressel has been suspended by the school for two games following a Yahoo report that stated Tressel was aware of NCAA violations by several of his players. He’ll also have to pay a $250k fine and attend a compliance seminar. The school announced the suspension at a Tuesday night news conference with Athletic director Gene Smith, school president Gordon Gee and Tressel in attendance.
The violations in question date back to last year when Terrelle Pryor, Dan Herron, DeVier Posey, and Mike Adams were found to have sold jerseys and other memorabilia to Edward Rife, who owns Fine Line Ink Tattoos in Columbus. Apparently, Tressel knew about the sale of merchandise but didn’t report it to the school or NCAA, thus the suspension. | ||||||||||||||||

In his appearance, the 80-year-old spoke about the disconnect between people his age and the youth and, in the process, looked like a doddering old fool. Video player, do your thing! It’s unclear at this time whether Snoopy Snoopy Poop Dog was just Simpson’s way of saying he made an oopsie in his pants. One of my favorite upcoming Hollywood stars, Aly Michalka, appears in the latest issue of something called Zooey magazine. I have no idea what that is, but they were smart enough to film her working her moneymakers in a behind the scenes video for this photo shoot. If Aly has even a whit of talent as an actress I don’t see how she doesn’t become the next Megan Fox. Only with talent. If she has any. Okay, moving on.    | ||||||||||||||||
| Female Fox News anchor wonders if man was right to beat woman into coma Posted: 08 Mar 2011 12:56 PM PST As we mentioned earlier, it’s International Women’s Day. And when women are not busy making terrible logos to support the cause, they’re apparently busy saying on Twitter that a man might have been right for beating a 100 pound woman into a coma over a parking spot, like Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.  According to Gawker, the man in question, Oscar Fuller, didn’t even claim the woman deserved the beating she got, but just said that he retaliated after she hit him first. Personally, I just love the ending of the tweet. Sensational journalism at its finest. In fact, I submit to you that every inappropriate question ever asked should feature the tagline “In Kelly’s Court!” -”Should children be violently beaten for ratting you out for molesting them?
