George Mason had mounted a comeback against Villanova and trailed by one with 30 seconds left. And, of course, the most dramatic announcer in the history of sports, Gus Johnson, was calling the game. CBS could not have scripted it better with Vince McMahon running the “Montreal Screw Job”. Odd wrestling references aside, the Patriots’ Luke Hancock calmly hit a three-pointer with 21 seconds remaining that gave them the win. To his credit, Gus Johnson’s orgasm-level only reaches an 8/10 for first-round games. Next week though, yea, next week, he may blow a blood vessel in his brain. | ||||||||||||||||
| VIDEO: A supercut of people saying the movie’s name in the movie Posted: 18 Mar 2011 01:30 PM PDT I’m a sucker for when — often in cheesy action films — one of the characters uses the name of the movie in regular dialogue, often stopping dramatically afterwards. Finally, someone cut all those moments into one supercut and it’s pretty enjoyable and hilarious out of context. The fact that someone would use the phrase “eternal sunshine of the spotless mind” in conversation is still more believable than any other bit of Jim Carrey’s dramatic work, at least. | I wonder which female athlete this is Posted: 18 Mar 2011 01:23 PM PDT You’ll forgive me, the NCAA tourney is a bit slow at the moment. No real upsets to speak of today and the only thing of note is that Bruce Pearl magically still has a job after losing by 30 to Michigan earlier this afternoon. So we travel to the world of female athlete body parts. Specifically, the badankadonk of the women on the left. Need a hint? Well, she’s friends with the woman on the right, Kelly Rowland, hasn’t played competitively since last summer, and may or may not have threatened an officials life at one time. By the way, I have no idea at what point spandex tears, but I’m guessing this lovely lady is testing its limits to the max. Any guesses folks?  | ||||||||||||||||

Sure, we loves us some Candice and Lily and Rosie and all, but we don’t see enough of Isabeli. Perhaps the folks at Victoria’s Secret got my memo. You think that’s a figure of speech, don’t you?
